G’day all,
It’s your friendly webmaster Ben here with a quick update on some of the developments I have made with the website. As you may or may not have noticed there have been a few minor changes to the appearance and features of the website and some very MAJOR changes to the inner-workings of the site, but I won’t bore you with the technical details just trust me that it makes the site much better.
Obviously one of the biggest changes is the page that you are reading right now! This news and events page is able to be accessed by club members (upon request to me) to post announcements (just like this one) for anything club related, it may be good for announcing upcoming or past events and other important stuff. Remembering of course that it is also viewable by the general public.
Changes to the website can be made dynamically and no longer require any manual work to be done by me to add pages and articles to the site which means the site can be updated by anyone, anywhere at any time. The addition of a live weather feed for Port Lincoln in the right hand column and links to the Weather Channel’s fantastic weather radar and WillyWeather below it should cover all your weather needs.
